• Intro to English Paper Piecing 🐾✨ - Join us at Creative Reuse to celebrate National Pets Day and learn this relaxing hand-sewing technique while making adorable pet-themed coasters—perfect for your morning cuppa or as a sweet handmade gift. No experience needed, just a love of crafting (and maybe a soft spot for furry friends 💛). Saturday, April 11, 10am-12pm. 

  • • Sample projects for inspiration, guided instruction, and all materials will be provided with a wide selection of fabrics to customize your design.

    • $10–15 donation depending on your project selections, if you can.

    • This Craft Morning led by Ariel Riccardi: Ariel is a hobbyist crafter who enjoys dabbling in garment sewing, quilting, needle felting, knitting, and other fiber arts. When she’s not crafting you’ll find her out walking with her pups, climbing, doing yoga, cooking, reading, or helping with the many critters on her sister’s (aka hobby enabler #1) property in Paradise Valley.

• Sunday, May 17, 2-4pm - Intro to English Paper Piecing: May Flowers 🌸- Join us at Creative Reuse Montana to learn this relaxing and portable hand-sewing technique while making May-flower themed coasters—perfect for setting your morning cuppa on or as a sweet handmade gift. No experience or registration needed, just a love of crafting, learning, and trying new things. Just show up or pre-register for early fabric selections!

• Raw-Edge Fusible Appliqué - simple, easy, fun! - Sunday, June 7, 2-4pm
  Come make a design with fabric and apply it to a card, or leave with it ready to frame. Bring a piece of clothing to embellish, if you want!

  • Just show up! No registration needed.

  • $7 optional donation to cover materials and host more activities like this!

  • WHAT IS RAW-EDGE FUSIBLE APPLIQUÉ?! Think: fabric collage, make pictures or paint by numbers with fabric. No sewing involved! This was kind of a thing in the 80s! Open to all ages; you will need to be able to use scissors to cut fabric, bring your own fun embellishments (cotton: rick rack, yarn…) or find them here. You can fuse your appliqué to just about anything that doesn’t melt!

  • This is a fun technique to make a project out of anything and use those fabric scraps up!

  • This Sunday Afternoon led by Alice Pilgeram, who has quilted forever.

• Worldwide Knit in Public Day, Saturday, June 13 🧶, 10am-12pm - Bring your own chair. Meet in front of Opportunity Bank, 123 S. Main St., Livingston (adjacent to the shop!). Local meetup initiated by Creative Reuse Montana volunteer Jeanie Kay!

• Repair Faire at Studio Wheelhouse, Bozeman, Saturday, June 13, 1-5pm 🛠️ - A day for celebrating the act of fixing our most used items, instead of buying new or throwing away. Repair Faire is a day to connect the community to repair resources, including Creative Reuse Montana!

• Maker Pop-up @ Creative Reuse! Rogue Sunflower Atelier 🌻 Sunday, June 14, 12-6pm. Shop Creative Reuse, ask your sewing questions, just say hello.

• Fairy Village Supply Swap, Monday, June 15, 3:30-5:30 🧚 - Small Swap for Your Smallest, Fairy-sized Supplies. Supports Wishberry Hollow Makers.

• Extended Hours: Open Wednesday-Sunday, July 1-5, 12-6pm for the holiday weekend! Fourth of July is one of most festive weeks of the year in Livingston - come see us at 129 S. Main St. In the shop:

  • Make a card for a veteran with us! 🫡 We're supporting a local effort to get a card to every veteran in Park County this Veteran's Day—and the card making starts July 1-5 in the shop! The effort will attempt to make approximately 1,300 cards. Drop-in, make a card, and get a coupon for the shop!

  • Strawberry Crochet Blanket Raffle 🍓 to support access to creative supplies for youth!Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20. Cash or Venmo only. Available only in the shop July 1-5, 12-6pm.

• "How to Plan a Workshop" Workshop 🌻 - Friday, July 10, 6-8pm, 129 S. Main St., Livingston - pre-register

  • Do you have a craft or skill that you want to share with others? At this workshop we'll help walk you through how to write your instructions, list the materials and facilities you'd need, and how to get started with your own intro workshops. Hosted by Ariel Riccardi of Rogue Sunflower Atelier.

  • Suggested minimum donation $10-25 to Creative Reuse Montana. Donation supports continuing the Creative Reuse Montana mission to get materials into the hands of makers and keep them out of landfill and a portion will go to Ariel, your instructor to support her endeavors with Rogue Sunflower Atelier to foster the creativity in herself and others in the community.
